Discussion/approval/disapproval of grant funds received from the State Justice Institute. Said grant funds, in the amount of $17,633, represent fifty-percent of the total expenditure required to obtain consultant services from the National Center for State Courts. The Consultant will provide advice and strategies based upon national best practices that will support the Court's long-term goals and capabilities to expand technology in the court. Acceptance requires a FY 18/19 budget amendment to transfer budget appropriation only from fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 194 (Courts Enhancement Fund) to increase revenues/expenditure appropriations. There is no impact on the General Fund. Match funds are available and budgeted in cost center 2600162.
